Congrats, jodih As for me: 1. After buying the ISong CD-Rom, and with 1 month of constantly working at it, I’ve finally learned how to play Cream’s version of _Crossroads_…man I love that song 2. I got a body fat test taken again, last year at this time 185 lbs, 23 % fat, today 170 lbs, 5% fat. All this hard work has really been paying off…for the first time in my life I can’t wait for summer. 3. Let’s see, now: after a year and a half, I still like my job, and I’m glad as hell I left teaching. I’ve got a wonderful wife who loves me completely; and it’s almost the time of year to start working in the garden, going on bike rides, and playing softball. (Well, here in MD; definitely not true up there in Montana!) ---

because today is about 500% better for me than yesterday was I actually have three good things to add: My husband is at work so I ran to Weinerschnitzel for a “non-grownup” meal. The new issue of Yahoo came today AND I got my car washed. Best of all, I got to speak with someone I was really worried about and clear up a lot of negative thoughts. - I get to see my sweetheart in 7 days! - The weather is _beautiful_ here and I’ve been on a few bike rides already. (RTF, one was a fifty miler! My second ride of the season.) - I’ve started lifting weights. This is really the first serious attempt I have ever made at it. I think I’m doing good at my new job! I feel like I am where I should be for my experience or maybe even better and doing better then some others that were in my training class. I was worried, but I wanted it bad. As usual though, other things are going worse… I just cant seem to get EVERYTHING going up! LOL ☹ ---

Congratulations in advance, jodih! As for me– 1- My own SO and I are growing closer & closer and I’m truly **happy** in the relationship. 2- My job actually doesn’t suck a lot of the time. 3- I’m healthy, able to support myself, and surrounded by good friends. Thank you, jodih, for starting this thread… makes me realize how lucky I am! Gosh, you guys are sweet – thanks all. 🙂 But I feel I must clarify: I think Ben is going to pop the proverbial question at some point in the foreseeable future because he’s asking things like, “If we were to get married, where would we get married?” (meaning, his home state or mine), and “what kind of rings do you like?” I don’t think this is going to happen in the next few days or even weeks, so ya’ll can put that champagne back on the shelf. And, Wally, he treats me _very_ well, and if he ever doesn’t, I’ll direct him here and you can “Putz” him. 🙂 That is still excellent expectations jodih!! 😃 spooje, for not having cancer, and for kelli’s mom being well, and Wally being back 1. My oldest son drove back to college for the first time by himself, and was fine. 2. My chinese plum tree is blossoming, it is SO beautiful, like tiny purple kisses all over its branches! 3.
