Here’s extremely posh British chap Christopher Mayhew, later Lord Mayhew, sampling mescaline under an extremely posh doctor’s supervision in 1955. It’s an interesting snippet of history, besides the stiff-upper-lip tripping going on.

I’ve seen links to that so many times but have never watched it until just now, and yeah, it was. My favorite line: “I wish I could talk in Technicolor” makes me very jealous. By the time I was doing LSD in the '70’s, it was bland and boring. I always wished for some of the good stuff. I haven’t taken any LSD for over 30 years, but I’m still jealous.

Yeah, especially the one on the left being completely unfazed by queefing : "Okay, ’ Coming to Broadway: Pussy Farts!’ "

I regret never having smoked weed back in college, when it was relatively safe. Had a few puffs on a pipe once, but did damn-all for me.
