Drugging yourself up to the point of near death is not optimal to good decision making. And of course you freeze to death in the back yard while OD’ing (or vise-versa) ---

If a group of people all got a bad or too strong batch of drugs and they all did a similar amount, why would it be strange that they all OD’d? ---

I don’t really think it’s a strange thing to happen. I just meant I had never before heard of a group of people dying at the same time. I’m really only familiar with ODs through popular culture and they always involved lone individuals. It seems that Fentanyl is leading to more group deaths than Heroin or other opiates do. ---

Sounds like “The Chemist” mixed up some drug cocktail that made them all feel overheated, and then lose consciousness. He laid down on the couch with the fan going and slept it off, but his friends went outside to cool off and … well, you know the rest. ---

I mean, the other possibility is that one of the ingredients in his drug cocktail already came laced with fentanyl, given how common that has become. ---

That works with my scenario, whether he knew about the fentanyl or not. I’m guessing he thought it would pack a punch, but maybe not as big of one as it did. ---

They may have reacted to a sudden feeling of being overheated and then passed out minutes later after seeking to cool off outdoors. They may not have died from the cold.
