This may be a record for me, and I’m a grumpy bear as a result. I’ve peeled off nine EKG pads and no small amount of fur. Nine pads! Ouch! Not to mention various bits of tape here and there. I think the medical types rub their hands with glee at the sight of a bear, knowing how much pain they’re about to inflict between sticky tape and pads and shaving. Oh yeah, the leg was shaved. ---

Sometimes I think I just can’t win. Higgs was amazingly quiet all night long!! _ **However** _, I was having a dream that it was almost time to wake up, and I woke up - at 2:15 in the dark of AM. Not only that - I couldn’t fall back to sleep! DAMMIT!!! I started feeling all relaxed and drowsy about 15 minutes before I had to get up. So I’m just beat. I’m going to bed with Mel tonight, and since tomorrow’s my day off, I should be able to sleep in. Theoretically. Work went well - boss said he’d give me real work to do starting next week. The guy who was hired with me is still struggling with the first drawing. I’m glad we’re no longer sharing a cube - he’d drive me crazy with questions… My brain is mush. So glad it’s my weekend… ---

**metal mouse** , I’ve not seen NdGT in person, but I’m looking forward to it. He’s at TPAC in Nashville 18 and 19 of November. I’ll be in the cheap seats but they’re decent there. **gotti** , baby or mineral oil will remove the stickem leftover from the medicos. I was still finding those @#$/ pads for two weeks after surgery and some of them were out of reach. It’s the studio tonight, executive decision. 😛 ---

I did not mention on the thread this morning, because, well, morning. Blorf you know. Anyhoo, Son got in fight at school yesterday. It was his turn to use the computer at school and the kid whose turn it was to get off the computer kept shoving him away and grabbing his arm and trying to turn the computer off. So, eventually, Sunny-son got fed up and retaliated. The problem is that he went Defcon 5 on the kid and tried to strangle him. 😛 I have explained that he can never try to strangle anyone, that he might seriously hurt them without intending to do so etc. He very logically pointed out that he doesn’t know how to fight and can’t punch very well, so he went straight to strangling. :smack: It was a long night of reiterating getting a grown up, never strangling, etc. I live with the kid from Big Bang Theory. ---

I have a limited amount of energy to get through my day, and things that seem trivial kick the shit out of me. It sounds like it works for Rosie too, unfortunately. ---
