Maybe they were hoping to steal his weapons so they could upgrade that baseball bat to something that would actually, you know, put down an old man when used on his fucking head! That guy is awesome! I surely hope I can take an aluminum bat to the head when Iā€™m that old, or of any age really. ---

If there was ever a stronger argument against aluminum bats, I donā€™t know what it is. Ash would have put the old guy down. Aluminum just pissed him off. ---

From the pic in the linked article that guy definitely looks fairly tough for a 72 year old man. All in all I think the teenagers are extremely lucky. Theyā€™ll do some time in prison but they left a shooting without being dead, and without killing anyone. Itā€™s unlikely theyā€™ll improve themselves, but they at least can expect a release a few years down the road. That situation could have turned out a lot worse for both sides. ---
