I started a thread on the Addiction Series a few weeks ago. Straight Dope Search Addiction… **Qagop** - I believe saw the links and commented on them, VERY GOOD SERIES! Check it out. ---

Thank you all. It is now actually the DAY. I am giddy as a school girl. Work is going to suck today. We are way short staffed , down about 2/3rds due to vacations and training, and we are going to get slammed. I know today is going to be rough. Then I stop and think for a minute and realize that no matter how bad today is going to be at work, it will be a cakewalk compared what my life used to be like. So it is all good. EJsGirl, I do what I can to make things right even though the people I am trying to make it right for don’t know it. I have been doing stuff for the halfway house I lived at. Mostly donating money and things the house could use. This week they are getting a grill. During the summer they would do burgers on a little charcoal grill. A bunch of recently sober drunks and lighter fluid \*isn’t \* the best idea. They will have a propane grill here shortly. It isn’t much, but it helps.
