# Thunderbird and MS Exchange

Does anyone know of a way to use Thunderbird (I assume it will require a plugin) to access mail on an MS Exchange server _without_ using either POP or IMAP? My company wants to turn those ports off and I will lose access unless I find a way to talk the Exchange protocol.
