I left that out on purpose, now you gone and spoiled it.

You can buy products in the UK which claim to reflect speed camera flashes, thereby obscuring the licence plate. Their effectiveness is partial, at best.
However, a lot of these cameras just use normal light to function, so the spray would not work in those cases.
Pithy founding fathers quotes aside, I got nuthin to hide.
I say snap pictures of the occupants of every car. Lady says a white guy in a black shirt with a Braves hat snatched her purse, let’s go to the video!
If I’m in public, my actions are public. Since my actions are always legal (with a slight tendency toward high-velocity travel) no one will bother me or ask why I was there, etc…
Perhaps that’s a slippery slope to the eye-scanning tracking system in Minority Report, but I really don’t think so. I’m all about making criminals uncomfortable and maybe some kids who were thinking of tagging or whacking mailboxes won’t.
Last year we had a double homicide on my street. It’s not Tiburon, but it’s not the hood, either.
Turns out drug cartels rent houses in nice neighborhoods, and set up distribution points from there.
A buy turned sour and 2 bad guys ended up dead, with 3 vehicles fleeing. One witness had a vague description of them, but that’s all.
A week later, the cops came to me after learning that I have 2 cameras that view the street 24/7.
Sadly, my system re-writes after 48 hours, so I could give them nothing. Had they come sooner, I would have had pictures of the perps and tags.
A system like that has value in my book.

Cool! And since the system is flawless, you have no reason to fear!
I heard the only thing we have to fear is fear itself!
Well, fear and getting fitted up by a corrupt police department, but given that this is California there’s no worries there…
