Oh,you poor soul… I’ve had 'em too, and I have one comforting (?!) note to make: Damn, it’s going to feel good when it stops hurting. 🙂 I know I felt GREAT. I’d been not-screaming in pain for about four hours before that; it hurts so much that screaming doesn’t cover it, but going all white and clammy and shaky seems to do a fine job. Got sent home with a pee strainer, got some cranberry juice. As soon as I went home I went to the bathroom, and voila! Kidney stone the size of a pinhead. ---

I’ve had them, one bad enough to land me in the hospital too. Drink LOTS of water. I had to stop the Atkins diet because it’s rough on the kidneys. I’ve given birth and I’ve passed stones. I would much rather have another baby. Kidney stones aren’t quite as cute to cuddle. ---

I’ve been there, **NoClueBoy**! I’ll tell you one thing–I really cleaned up my act after my stone. I’m much, much healthier now, and still stone-free after five years. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you if you do the same for me. ---

Whoo, boy! I’ll hop on this fuckin’ bandwagon! I started getting stones when I was 15 (at 15, I had no idea that such enormous pain existed). Have had at least one every year or so since then. As I type, I have 4 (not in painful locales) in my right kidney, that I am slated to have removed. I’ve always said that I don’t think I have a tendency towards drug addiction, cuz I’ve been on some pretty awesome narcotics for the stones, and have never gotten hooked. I had 1 kidney stone back in 1995. It was 11mm (about the size of a .45 bullet) and they had to go up and get the thing!:eek: Kidney stones are one of, if not _the_ most painful thing that can happen to you. If anyone ever implies that you are exaggerating how much it hurts, punch them in the head! Kidney stones can make the largest of men scream like a girl! They really fucking hurt! I’ve had women who had stones tell me they where far more painful than labor! Had Job gotten kidney stones he would have cursed God and died just to get rid of the pain!😛 Get well soon!
