He probably took a few days off and then started to work on the speech for the last few days. I don’t think it’s that big a deal he did it during a tourney. ---

The press is not the world. Another goalpost trundles on. And he only told them to leave his kids out of it, and that any resolution of the situation would be between him and his family. That’s a far cry from telling them to stay out of his business. Your claim that he would not apologize is obviously wrong. So, upon reflection, 0 for 4. ---
