I made a critical observation. If my observation had implications that overlapped board rules, it was purely coincidental. Warning me for junior modding based on the statement you quoted and warned me for was a stetch in every sense of the word. Especially as it appeared to be purely retaliatory for statements I made that did not breach board rules, that you simply didn’t like. If it wasn’t retaliatory, you would have brought it up in your “Moderator Note” as it obviously happened before then. Instead, you use it as grounds for a “Formal Warning.” Fucking, weak. ---

WTF is wrong with you people? First I heard some stupid crap from an illiterate re TJ, then it gets to Israel? Get some balls, people – every language appropriates little local pronunciations as it sees fit. Ask a mick or a Mexican or a cocksucker limey (no offense intended) or even a frog or one of the moon children from south in Europe, country doesn’t matter. ---

Born and raised in San Diego, lived there for my first 54 years. My Mom is half-Mexican; my Dad was adopted at birth by Mexican parents. Both of them spoke English and Spanish interchangeably from childhood. The only extended family I ever knew were on my Mom’s Mexican side, all from Southern California through Southern Arizona. The only way I ever heard _Tijuana_ pronounced was “tee-WONNA” or “tee-WHONNA.” The casual verbal shorthand was to call it “Tee Jay” or “Tee Town.” The only time I ever heard “teeya-WONNA” or “teeya-WHONNA” was when the subject was the _Tia Juana_ River. Might have been different in other families, but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. . ---
