The “Rock Your Body” singer has undergone surgery in Los Angeles to remove throat nodules from his vocal cords, [People magazine](http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=795&e=3&u=/eo/20050513/en_music_eo/16545) reports.

Drat!!  
I was hoping it was gonna say that doctors removed pipes from his bum! ☹
