And I broke into my Happy Dance when I saw the commercial! _Time After Time_, once of the best movies ever made, is now a TV show. Let’s hope it’s done right, and it’s a hit! ---

I can’t imagine how they can stretch the story into more than perhaps three episodes. Even Sleepy Hollow ran out of ways to play the “man from the past” gag in about one season. ---

And [canceled](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/time-time-canceled-at-abc-989811). They stretched the concept by introducing a conspiracy. After all, if you had a time machine that you were stupid enough to brag about, wouldn’t there be people trying to get their hands on it? Looks like we’ll never find out what who the conspirators were. ---

They ran out of story by episode 2. Unbelievable. If it had come out before _Timeless_ maybe it would have lasted longer, but it was too similar and not anywhere near as good, and even _Timeless_ will probably be cancelled, so this brief foray into time travel shows may not pay off. ---

There’s still _Legends of Tomorrow_ as well as (arguably) _The Flash_, both which have been renewed. ---

Even with all them other strikes against it, putting a genre show on at the same time as “Walking Dead” has got to be a pretty dumb idea. Guessing that it might have garnered bigger ratings if they’d held the premier until this coming Sunday.
