Good point on it not being 60%, but honestly, it really doesn’t say that 54% want to get rid of it. Just that 54% said they aren’t in favor of it.

I know of at least one institution that takes this approach: Camp Ramah in the Berkshires, a Jewish summer camp in upstate New York, uses Standard Time (a.k.a. “camp time”) instead of Daylight Saving Time while camp is in session. Their justification: the Jewish sabbath and holidays begin and end at sundown, and it’s easiest to coordinate this with young campers’s sleep schedules by just ignoring the time change.
