I was hoping the collective creativity would come up with some more spooneristic ideas. Without my proding.

I do appreciate the feedback. Looks like I`ll have to keep **whuckfistle**. Should I at least get it capitalised?

**Whukfistle** (drop the c, looks less fuckish)

Spoonerisms rock! When I was younger, we had a cat named Shirly. I was constantly saying, “Here, Curly Shitty!” Instead of, “Here, Shirly kitty!”

I still have problems with certain friend’s names.

Well, if keeping it, I like the non fuck-ish, cpaptalised version.

At first, I went right along with Whuckleberry Finn, or Whuckleberry. But as with all spoonerisms, I began playing with the name and with no trouble quickly found, “Fuckleberry Whinn”… not quite the effect you’re after I’m thinking. And now, in my mind at least, even Whuckleberry isn’t mentally safe. Maybe it’s just me.

I say keep it. But the spelling mods of, what was it, WhickFustle, WhackThistle, or WhukFistle are cool too. I agree that the missing ‘c’ in the spelling of ‘whuck’ is less…anyway.

If I may get all philosophical for a moment; I wouldn’t let your name trouble you too much when it comes to your credibility **whuckfistle**. IRL, people can change dramatically, but don’t change their name. I know this board isn’t RL, and I understand your concern about what some people’s perceptions may be, and how it’s easy enough to change your username. But IMO, I think people will appreciate you for who you are regardless of your name.

That’s the spelling my ex-SO and his son have. And yes, they too get called Byron all the time.

I rather like you name, but maybe you could drop part of it and become W.fistle or something like that.

If you mean “what does my above post mean?” I meant I wouldn’t use special characters like I did or face scorn and derision because people will think you inferior. (some people not all people)

If you meant “what does my username mean?” It is \*\*DeepFried[\b] as in deep fried onion rings or deep fried zucchini. Or in my case the way my brain feels most of the time. Basically its just a name I picked up during group therapy because I say things out of left field and often don’t make a lot of sense (like now).

If you meant “what do the special characters used in my username mean?” Nothing. I used to use just \*\*DeepFried[\b] on my chat and messaging places but my adorable neice decided to change it to the one I use now and like a proud uncle I continue to use it still.

Hope this clarifies. And, again, I vote you keep your name as is.
