# Time for Another "Identify This Song" Thread...

Genre: hiphoppy/urban pop  
Era: 1984-1985-ish  
Lyrics: for the refrainish section the MIDI applies to, something about “the left side” and “the right side”… get it on the left side, get it on the right side, or perhaps hit it on the left side, hit it on the right side… get it on, get it on…

ETA: songs that it is _NOT_:

a) It isn’t BoomKat “left side /right side” (this is way too slow and not urban / too countrified)

b) It isn’t Krizz Kaliko’s “Shoe Game” (genre-wise this is very close though)

Nope, I know that one. No similarity in tune, just a mention of “left hand side”.

Not familiar with. **listens** Right genre, but wrong song. I knew that already of course, since **engineer\_comp\_geek** nailed it.
