Can anyone recomend a browser that is: 1. Free -and- 1. Not as open to Popups as IE? ---

www…mozilla.org I use it at home. I haven’t seen a popup in months. The only time I use IE is for some stupid sites (like my bank) that are IE only. ---

Mozilla/Firebird It’s a stripped down version of Mozilla and just as fast as Opera. It has tons of plugins and themes. ---

I just downloaded Opera yesterday and am giving it an audition - so far, no problems…and no popups. ---

I’m fond of [MyIE2](http://www.ruihehang.com/myie2/html_en/home.htm) - I switch between it and Opera 6.06\* for my browsing. \*I’ve been having major issues with the later versions of Opera, so decided to go back to an earlier version. ---

I’ve set Opera to only open pop-ups if I actually click on a pop-up link. (They can have their uses, after all.) Opera 7 also comes with a built-in stylesheet that will hide a lot of the standard-sized advertising on Web pages. [Opera download pages](http://www.opera.com/download/) ---

I use Pop-Up Stopper, too. Very useful. It catches 99 3/4% of pop-ups with the Ctrl key as an overide. It’s a free download and I’ve had no problem with it. Pop-ups suck. ---
