# Time Outs Today

Something I’ve been watching for a little while now is when Straight Dope times out, I switch the DNS addresses I use. Today was one of those days, and it was affecting other sites the same way. I was using the default Verizon addresses and switching to some free ones fixed it up nicely.

Don’t take this to mean I’m saying the board doesn’t have problems. I just wanted to point out another thing that can add to the problem.
