What am I missing? My Uncle Jonas gave his kids an Atari for Hanukkah in something like 1978. He was cool like that. My mother was on the “Hanukkah isn’t Christmas” thing. I still didn’t get an Atari for Purim.
My Uncle Jonas gave me one for my bat mitzvah.
I believe the joke is the idea that the Atari 2600 might still be seen as a viable Chanukah gift in 2017.
