I agree. In the last twelve months: **The Pit** ’s gotten fluffy. Also: **MPSIMS** has gone totally mindless. **IMHO** is just GQ questions to which there is no answer. **Cafe Society** is endless threads about endless TV programs I have no knowledge of. **Great Debates** has more snark and vitriol than the pit ever had. **General Questions** is full of more debate than ever. **About this message Board** is full of locked threads which should have been full of SDMB memes Only the two comments forums have stayed the same. And they were just there to let guests make their first posts anyway. ---

There are only, as of right now, 29 active threads in the Pit and you want to throw out more of them? So only 10 or 12 threads will be on the page. We’ve made the dope so ‘efficient’ to read that there isn’t anything worth reading. Fuck the Rules. The first rule of the pit is that there are no rules. Except for threats of violence. And you must use a very descriptive thread title. And no RO. and you had better muther-fucking curse to make a dead pirate blush. ---

[/QUOTE] Probably half your problem is that you’re parsing that as two clauses, when really as long as I’ve been here it’s been properly parsed as “complaints (of all kinds)” and “other discussion regarding administration of the SDMB (i.e, other discussion than what’s happening in ATMB)” The other half of your problem is obvious to most readers, I think. ---
