No, I’m a good ways away from that point. I like this look and also [URL=“http://www.houzz.com/photos/218808/Microhouse-fremont-cottage—reclaimed-fir-cabinets-contemporary-kitchen-seattle”]this look, but it would have to be done on my very modest budget (no rolling ladders for me!). This looks nice and simple.

I like the first one, too. And I forgot this link, which is nice. Right now my kitchen has pale blue walls and white woodwork. (you can see a bit of it with this picture of bread I baked) It needs repainting though, so other color schemes are doable. All the kitchen, floor, walls and ceiling are wooden. Beadboard on the ceiling.
