Why stop at time traveler? Why not just claim she’s one of the Doctor’s companions and he’s rigged the phone so she could contact the TARDIS whenever necessary? ---

I was amused that the Western Electric hearing resembles (superficially) an iPod. (The circular controls on the top, the general rectangular shape.) So perhaps the real story is that the woman just appears to be using a contemporary hearing aid, but it’s actually an iPod disguised to look like one. ---

How come nobody has mentioned that she’s TRANSPARENT in the close ups? Clearly an alien. I think she’s either shielding her eyes from the sun, shielding her ears from traffic noise, or shielding her head from wind. No time travelling, no mobile phones, no man in drag. Her shoes are really ugly, though. ---
