I noticed he also has a handicap parking placard in his car but seems to be pretty fast on his feet when it comes to obtaining used cigarette butts and fast food. He doesn’t seem to be lacking funds so my guess is he is trying and failing to quit smoking, but can’t bring himself to actually buy his own. As far as being a littering asshole it’s hard to think of any explanation other than him being a littering asshole. ---

I like the thought that maybe he knew he was being papped so just did the most grotesquely low-class things he could think of to have fun with the media shitstorm. Still, no excuse for littering. ---

I once spent a 30 minute train ride watching a woman tear apart a pile of butts and put the tobacco bits into a baggie, all very neatly in her lap. She put all the paper and filters into another bag, and then started rolling cigarettes. I wonder what those were like, “everything” cigarettes. ---
