# Timeshare salespeople: How do you do it?

Same happened to us. We did the “orientation”, recognized it as a sales pitch and gave them a hard no. When got back to our room, the complimentary fruit and wine basket disappeared, as did the nice bedside floor mats covering the tile floor, and the ceiling fan stopped working. Coincidence? At least they didn’t cut off our endless poolside margaritas.

John Oliver has a good segment on timeshares. This the last 5 min that sums it up comically. The whole thing is good.

Me too. And I always think “That post was particularly stupid”, and then notice it was posted by me 8 years ago.
