Well if the job creators are going class total war and start impoverishing people to make a political point then how should the takers who only want stuff and things react? Supporting a social safety net that protects you from capricious assholes who’d fire you in a fit of pique seems the logical answer. ---

The CEO of the company I work for supposedly donated/spent around $50m to various republicans. There was also a company wide email in support of Romney along with one which was anti-democrats in general. Apparently not a single supported candidate won his/her race (though I haven’t personally seen the list to verify.) Nobody was laid off as far as I know. ---
