Uh, I notice at the bottom of the screen that is says all times are CT. It’s 11am here and now (Dallas, which is CT) and several posts are timestamped after this time. Which means that either I’m caught in a time warp or that times are not in fact CT. ---

I am seeing the same thing. I am in EST, and there are post times showing up just minutes after I have exited a thread that should be 50 - 55 minutes in the future for CST. In addition, (and this could be posted to either «Refereshing the AOL Browser» or to the «New Posts Since Last Visit» thread), I have seen threads marked with a “folder” indicating activity since my last visit and times that are only 5 or 10 minutes old, (my time, EST), yet when I enter the thread, I find that the most recent post is one I read several hours earlier. (?!) I like the board, so far, but this confusion regarding open and closed posts is very irritating. ---

Okay, that has got to be a record. Time elapsed between posts: 1 year, 3 months, 15 days for a total of 472 days. Importance of post that dredged this thread up: 0. So, the ratio of the importance to the time elapsed works out to… whaddya know? 0! It’s just a jump to the left… ---

It’s not the real SILENT-BOB, for one thing. It’s a troll. It’s like a raccoon getting into the trash and spreading it all over the lawn. The animal control people\* should be taking care of it momentarily. - Sorry for the unflattering description of our mods and admins, but that must be what the job is starting to look like. Anyhow, keep up the good work. We’ll be rid of these buggers yet… ---

Is there anything sadder than an “About this Message Board” troll? I mean, it’s like hiding under a bridge that gets used once a month. I have a mental image of our fake **SILENT-BOB** as the village idiot of one of those cliche western ghost towns. Tumbleweeds blowing everywhere, and our little friend sitting in the deserted, ruined saloon, typing away with two fingers on an old 486.
