Tin Man, anyone else watching?

No, Ahamo told her she was named after the first Dorothy Gale.

I got the impression that the emerald was also the only way to separate the sister from her inner witch.

I suppose “DG” which was often pronounced “Deej” could have been short for “Diedre”.

I too wanted to see Glitch re-brained.

I think I liked the second part best, followed by the third part, followed by the first part. I didn’t quite get how it could be both a reimagining of the original and also a sequel (since Dorothy Gale is apparently DG’s ancestor). I also would have liked a little more epilogue. Over all, I enjoyed it - it was definitely better than Sci-Fi’s usual fare, but falls short of their better stuff like Dune and The Lost Room.

Still, why not wait until after the double eclipse so that the witch couldn’t use it to destroy the OZ? Chill out, have some pizza, maybe a few beers.

Then we would have had nothing to watch!

I’m just finishing it now so I haven’y read the thread, buy I must say they have made good use of the Stargate music. I mean there is no reason for it to go to waste just because they canceled the show.

Wow you guys really panned it. I thought it was good. I’ll agree, I don’t think I like Zoey. I think I liked it better because I picked out what it was doing early on. When the “papey’s” werent flowers that made them sleepy, I knew they weren’t retelling the Wizard of Oz so i had no problem throwing that expectation out the window. The instant the real witch turned up I thought maybe she was the wicked witch of the North or something, but I immediately knew that “the ancients” refered to the original Wizard of Oz.

Add in some cleavage monkeys and you’ve got some pretty good Sci-Fi.

I thought Glitch & Cain made the more natural couple somehow.

I liked it overall, but agree Zooey was awful. Did the director really tell her to play the role that way or did the actress really not care? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such an apathetic & ambivalent performance. If there’s an actor’s encyclopedia, there should be a picture of Zooey under the entry “phone it in.”
