Just to echo **MEBuckner** , I’d like to give a big “howdy” to all the BABB folks that loserboy had caused to register over here. I’m a huge Bad Astronomer fan, and anyone who posts on his MB is more then welcome here.

Cheers.

I guess I’m one of the BABB crossovers, but it all goes back to Kipp Teague’s Apollo mailing list, where the Bad Astronomer spoke of Seethruart/Piper and his rampages.

I’ve been trying to debate Seethruart at this obscure forum

with predictable results. I think it’s funny he says it took him months to find some of these “anomalies”. If I looked at the same photo for months on end I’d probably start seeing pink bunny rabbits too.

Many years ago there was an article in “Communication Arts”, a journal for graphic artists, that was reprinted in the “Journal of Irreproducible Results” talking about “images” of naked women, Spiro Agnew, and space aliens in the random patterns of light and shadow in advertising photographs. Ice cubes in drinks were especially susceptible. The religious right had produced reams of pseudo-science alleging these were intended as subliminal hooks.

Of course the human visual cortex is highly wired for recognition. This is what lets us see “faces” in the arrangement of house windows, and in Picasso paintings. The human brain is strongly programmed with a “looks like” algorithm. Thankfully a bit of critical thinking skill helps us avoid the “looks like therefore can only be” fallacy. Show me a “face” on Mars and I’m not impressed. When it looks like Mt. Rushmore, then I’ll be impressed.

Anyway, I’m a former aeronautical engineer, and I’ve taken it as sort of a hobby project to provide answers to some of the moon hoax allegations. I’ve met a number of highly skilled people with similar goals. And together we’ve started a web site:

which seems to be quite appreciated. Send folks over there, if you want.

It promises to be better than the “pound puppy” invasion. (I’ll explain this to anyone who asks.)

Don’t tell me … Seethruart is claiming that these anomalies prove that the **Mars** missions were faked, too!

I always knew Mariner 9 was a hoax…

Hah! Seathruart’s got several very blurry UFO pix on his site, but I’ve got some that are [much better, and razor-sharp.](http://doorbell.net/tlr/ufo.htm)

I remember, about three years ago, my brothers and I got bored. We started throwing sticks and rocks and stuff into the air, and taking pictures of them.

I should try to find some of the photos, because they looked very similar to a lot of the “supposed UFO” pictures running around out there.

I wonder if Mr. Art believes that aliens will build their spaceships out of mist and fog… because I’ve seen his UFO pictures, and there’s not a single solid object anywhere to be seen.

Thanks for the welcome guys. 🙂

I’ll probably be sticking around (All I need is another forum to be addicted to though, lol). Anybody that gave Seethruart/Piper the thrashing you guys did have to be a great bunch. We are rather in awe over at the BABB. 🙂

Of course, Phil tries to keep it civil over there, and we try to oblige, but with somebody like Piper, it’s hard.

It looks like Piper’s fallen in his old routine. He’s quiet for a couple of weeks, then we have a flurry of nonsense from him… Been going on for months, just as we all get calmed down the moron posts again. Less and Less lucid each time…

All right, Mr. Art, I went through your new section, and I only have one question… **What in the name of Sam Hill are we looking at?!?** What makes these footprints “anomalous”?!? _There were friggin’ astronauts on the Moon!_ They weren’t running around barefoot!

Yeesh. They’re footprints. There is nothing special about them.

Oh, and also, you still need to answer a few questions…

1. What are you trying to prove, and why?

2. How does your “evidence” show this?

3. Why are you more credible than NASA? Why should we take your word for all this?

4. Why would we “fear” your supposed “truth”?

5. How come you seem to be the only person who sees this “evidence” of yours?

6. Why do you have a “shuttle” fetish?

Go on. If you’re really telling the truth, why are you afraid of a few questions? Why are you scared? Why can’t you address these, if you have “truth” on your side?

I am proving that the Apollo Lunar Landing missions were faked, and I am doing it because it’s the truth.

The enlargements are proof that the ground in Apollo photos is really a series of long range images and the astronauts were super imposed onto the long range images.

NASA has no credibility, and no one has to take my word for anything. All they have to do is study the images (as I did).

> [@](#):
>
> \*Originally posted by SPOOFE \*

Many have a lot to lose when this is exposed to the public.

> [@](#):

> **5. How come you seem to be the only person who sees this “evidence” of yours?**

If you saw something I pointed out, would you post in this thread to say so? If you would, then you must like being attacked. Most people have no desire to be attacked over something they see on the ground in an Apollo photo. If it weren’t for the fact that I discovered this fake and how it was done, I wouldn’t be here either. I have to get the word out, and I have to keep getting it out until the truth grows wings and takes flight.

> [@](#):
>
> \*Originally posted by SPOOFE \*
> **6. Why do you have a “shuttle” fetish?**

I think you need to ask NASA about that. It’s in “their” photo…remember? I just found it and pointed it out.

I’m not afraid of questions, I’m just bored with debunkers and their hot air.

When I move to a permanent site, and explain this fake in detail with graphic examples, all of your questions will be answered, but I’m not going to keep answering the same questions over and over again on debunker message boards.

The photos will always be around for you to study whenever you are ready to face the reality and truth of them.

🙂

SPOOFE, please reference my previous posting.

Note that Pipes has not answered, or even acknowledged, anyones’ questions. All he does is the same thing: “I’m back, come pay attention to me.”

He simply won’t, he can’t answer your questions. He leaves you with no sense of closure, no satisfaction, which tends to mildly annoy you, which in turn drives you to interact with Pipes more so that he gets the attention he so desperately craves.

No matter how resoned the argument, no matter how detailed the debunking, it does not matter. Pipes doesn’t care! All he cares about is the interaction, the attention.
His rationale is such that you can call him names, insult his intelligence, make vague allusions to his ancestry or sexuality, and to him, it’s adulation. It’s attention- good or bad, it’s all good from his point of view.

I tried to explain this on the BABB, got a little too enthusiatic to get my point across, and was denounced as a troll myself. And as it stands, every time Pipes pokes his head in, five people say “just ignore him” and thirty-seven jump right in with both feet and try to debate logic and reason with someone who can comprehend neither and doesn’t care anyway.

What more evidence is needed? You’ve asked your questions five times- he hasn’t even acknowledged that you asked anything, let alone replied to any directly. I got the same thing, as has Rift, TomBlvd, and Phil himself, along with two dozen others on BadAstro’s board.

You and I, as well as nearly everyone else on both boards, are wasting our collective time. You and I see this thread as a hundred full-body slams to Pipes’ fragile and strange little world. Pipes sees it as a hundred people hanging on his every word, just _waiting_ for the next handful of anomolous photos or revealing evidence he’d uncovered.

Doc.
