There’s no need to trip your movers. They’ll break plenty of stuff on there own.

The last time we moved (1995)we did tip the movers, about 20 each. They also scored “spoils” from the basement.
I did not water or feed the movers, I figure they tend to their own needs pretty well. And I don’t expect to have to provide tools either.
I remember when we had construction workers here throughout the fall and into winter I did on occassion offer hot beverages, but they never accepted. I never tipped them either, no way could I afford to start dowwn that road! Also the contractor delivered a jiffyjon for their use. Thank god for that!
its obvious to me that workers hate to have hoverers, so Im glad when I dont have to! The one tradesman who did talk and talk and visit us and even our neighbors, well he didnt last, guess his feelings got hurt somewhere along the way. 😛

Last time I moved, I found people through an internet site. They showed up two hours late, three people instead of two, and almost damaged my furniture getting it up the stairs. Then, they argued the price I had been quoted. I wound up sighing, giving them a bit more, and feeling glad to have it done with. Twenty seconds later, they came back and knocked on the door, “yo, where’s our tip?” I was afraid of them, so I gave them an extra $20. NEVER AGAIN.

I have not only never tipped my movers, until I opened this thread I’ve never even heard of anyone offering a tip to movers.

The only times I’ve used movers is when the insurance company paid for it after a drunk idiot drove into our house. I tipped $20 a head, and had gatorade and water available in a cooler.
