# Tips for de-stinking a walking cast?

Fear the Walking Cast.

Friend with similar problem rubbed it down with cleaning vinegar, repeated applications with a sponge, and then clean that off with water. After a couple of days he was approachable again.

And if the smell is impregnated into the plastic, you could try cling-wrapping over it and a bunch of newspaper overnight For some reason this works with tupperware type plastics, where the smell atoms transfer in some sort of magic process to the paper.

I agree with the suggestion of liberal application of baking soda overnight. If it works on my husband’s house slippers (and it does), it should work on about anything.
