I really enjoyed Ms Vowell’s _Assassination Vacation_, and _Take The Canoli_ and _The Partly Cloudy Patriot_ were pretty good too. She’s just Gonzo enough to help fill the void after Thompson’s suicide. (Gonzo History?) But the other night (sorry, no link), I read an article on Ms Vowell, & her next book will be on the Pilgrims. Title? _The Wordy Shipmates_. I’m really looking forward to it. Out in 2008. Anybody got an exact release date? Any other Vowell fans on the Board? ---

[/QUOTE] Do you base that on actually reading any of her stuff? I find David Sedaris (if that’s who you mean) insufferable myself, but _The Partly Cloudy Patriot_ was good. ---

I have a big crush on Sarah. She’s nerdy-sexy. Great writer, cool voice. Went to see her speak in October and she’s very cute up close. Looking forward to her next book. ---
