It’s nonsense, of course, and as long as scholarly papers continue to have a TL;DR section (conventionally called the Abstract) it will remain nonsense.

I’ve never been a fan of the semicolon in “TL;DR”. It looks like a typo.

I think a response of “TLDR” is hilarious but when someone types “TL;DR” I think they’re a fat-fingered idiot. hehe
