To adopt a kitty, or not?

Except that each time I asked someone about it, I got different answers. I didn’t want to run the risk of having to turn around at the border and drive my cat home if they wouldn’t let him in.

I’ll be getting in touch with those who are offering advice on different shelters as soon as I’ve got everything set for adopting. Thanks a bunch.

Also,

http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/anima/heasan/import/catse.shtml has a specific section on moving back to Canada and their rabies requirements. I didn’t read the whole site, but I’m sure you’ll find what you need to reassure you!

If you ever need to cross the border, bring along a print out of the relevant webpages… I can’t imagine you’d have too much trouble if you follow the information provided by Canadian Border Services itself!

Get the cat!
