That’s terrible news. I’m very sorry for your loss. **Polycarp** was someone whose contributions i always enjoyed and valued. He was an outstanding member of this community, and i’m sorry that he’s gone. ---

I am so sorry for your loss. Polycarp was someone I always looked for and who’s posts I always read when I could. I’d noticed he was missing recently, and wondered how he was. It’s a sad day. ---

I’m so sorry to hear this news, and wish all the best to Mrs Carp and all their family and friends. Polycarp was certainly one of the more recognisable names here on the board. It’s a testament to folk like Poly and the other early messageboard members that many are not just ‘names’ anymore: we share in their lives, their loves, their losses and as time goes on (we’re all getting older of course), their deaths. May you rest in peace David. ---
