My condolences. **Polycarp** will be missed. I was thinking of him yesterday, reading a religious forum and telling myself that they would need someone like him to post there, and wondered why I hadn’t noticed him in a while. Thank you for taking the time to inform us. ---

**Poly** was one of my favorite posters and one of the main reasons I joined this board eleven years ago. I loved talking to him about religion in general and what was happening in the Episcopal Church we both loved. I’ve missed the days when he was most active but always comforted when I saw a new post from him. I’m so sorry for your loss, Mrs. Carp. May he rest in peace and rise in glory. ---

I’m very sorry for your loss. When I try to think of **Polycarp** ’s stature on this board I keep thinking Elder Statesman, even though I know that’s not exactly the right phrase. He was admired and respected. We’re going to miss him. ---
