You guys are freaking awesome! My wife is amazed at how the Doper community kicks it into high gear and responds immediately. From #25 to #21 in about 5 hours…almost at the cutoff! As for the link not working…the link is correct, but for some reason it doesn’t totally download the whole page. I too have experienced it. It may be a Firefox issue, but when I go to Tools and Clear Recent History, it usually works for me (Verified), Another way to get to it is to go to [http://www.refresheverything.com/](http://www.refresheverything.com/) and then select the “Current Leaders” tab near the top of the page. It will then display the top 10 proposals for each category ($50k, $25k, $10k and $5k). If you scroll down the page just past the 10th proposal(s), there is the “Load More” button which will add the next 10 proposals (#11-#20) and doing it again once more will add (#21-#30). Currently, my wife’s proposal (Get a smart board in a classroom for students with autism.) is #21 in the $5k category. Hopefully, it will be even higher ranked by the time you read this. When you find it, click on that Title and it will be more informative with the “Vote for this idea” button in the upper right. Click on that and it will give you options on how to vote. I do not have a Facebook account, so I have made a Pepsi account in order to vote. My wife has a Facebook account so she uses that method instead. When you complete your vote, you should get a “Thanks!” which acknowledges your vote. **JohnnyLA** , I’m not sure what’s going on with your vote getting hung up…maybe a clearing your recent history might help you as well as those who are having trouble getting on. Just try another time or day if it’s not doing it now. **ChinaGuy** …yup, some school districts are better off than others funds-wise or the budgets are dispersed in a different manner according to different philosophies…some may be more tech-driven/savvy than others. **Oslo** , that’s pretty cool, especially since that video is 3.5 years old. Again, _ **thank you** _ to everyone for voting today, and I hope you can take a little bit of time the following days to do the same! It is very promising to see positive results in such a short period of time…but the race is still too early to call. 🙂 ---

SMARTBoards are fantastic tools – I used to be the IT guy for (private!) school that had them in every classroom. I wish they could be everywhere. Good luck (to everyone involved)! Also, please forgive a meddling suggestion, but assuming you get the board, I’d highly recommend that the teacher attend one of the training sessions they offer. Learning all of the board’s possibilities is a huge step to embracing its potential. ---

Therese said that part of the $4800 cost includes training by the installer, plus Smart Tech has online training and teacher forums for continued support. The remaining amount of the grant will also go towards educational programs/apps for either the SmartBoard or the class ipad.
