First of all, don’t show up to a LAN Party unless you have working fucking microphone. Second of all, for those without mics, don’t attempt to type out long messages while we’re in the heat of battle. Next, listen to the fucking team captain! When I say to do something, fucking do it! You guys were the biggest group of uncoordinated egocentric assholes I’ve ever played with. The game is called _Team Fortress 2_, **not** _Every-Man-For-Himself Fortress 2_!!! Thanks for fucking up the tournament and making us lose in under 15 minutes ya bunch of pricks!!! Thanks for wasting my time and my money! ---

I cannot imagine the logistical pain in the ass involved in pulling off a LAN party. That you were only a few headsets short seems an achievement in itself. Pat yourself on the back for getting where you did and do better next time. ---

I don’t do LAN parties, but I understand the frustration of a team that doesn’t work the way it should, especially if you’re in a leadership position. There’s nothing worse than people who don’t contribute to something they’ve promised commitment to! And I concur, Rockstar is awesome. 😃 ---

Ahhh, I just love it when playing Red Orchestra how when we are getting our asses handed to us, one player will blame one particular other player. “Our tank driver is stupid” Look, tank driver is a thankless job as you don’t get to shoot anyone, if it is so god damn important, why don’t you take it. ---

We’re truckin’ along kicking ass and I’m not looking where we’re going…afterall I’m not the driver…just the machine gunner. Then it’s like, uh dude where are we going? Oh holy crap we just drove over a cliff!!!..and died! You freaking moron!!! It was still partially my fault for not noticing our impending doom. ---

I have only ever played Team Fortress, the original, once. During a game of capture the flag, I ran out, and well… took the other team’s flag a bunch of times. After about 3 captures, I started getting extremely agitated messages from the opposing team telling me what a noob looser I was. “Huh,” I thought, “I’m not even any good, how is this so difficult for them?” Then I started getting the same messages from my own team. Perplexed, I signed off. To this day, I’m not sure what kind of un-capture the flag circle jerk I interrupted. Maybe it was because I didn’t have a microphone. ---

Clans make all sorts of bullshit rules up. There was a fad a few years ago where clans would try to enfore their idiotic “backtracking” rules on public TFC servers :rolleyes: ---

Erf. Had a WoW thing like that last night. How I got to be the battleground leader is beyond me, but ok, “I can be a good general,” sez I. Let’s do this. I call out instructions, cap a base and try like hell to get people to organize, cap, and defend. We lost. Seriously, people, Arathi Basin is easy peasy if you do it right. Alliance just cannot seem to get it together. What a pita. Sorry, I couldn’t help splashing around in the geek pool and I seem to have gotten some geek on y’all there. There’s some towels in the relief hut. ---

But I’ve never been to one, so don’t mind me (I’m not into the type of game that lends itself well to networking.) And as for wow, on the one hand, hooray they finally added a voicechat client. Now if only they’d turn the fucking volume up so I could hear what people were saying (And I know you can set it to turn sounds down when someone is talking…the problem is people are so fucking quiet I have to turn the default volume up to ridiculous levels to hear clearly even then.) ---
