Owl,etc.,

While the events your friend has expierienced are tragic, no matter what you may want for her, her life has changed. Children bring a responsibility. For the next few years, she can not run next door and have a cup with her friends. SHe can’t just run to the store. She has to be aware of where her child is and keeping him or her from hurting his or herself. She has to feed, clothe, watchover, love, and cherish the child. If she has good friends (Such as yourself) and or family, they will occasionally watch over the child for her so that she can get out into the real world. I was six before my parents took me to a indoor theatre (And it was Mary Poppins that we saw) I was 13 before I saw an R rated movie. My parents were dirt poor when I was a kid, we did without a lot of things when I was young, but they didn’t inflict me onto the public in in approproiate places.

Heh. Thanks, that’s a funny one. Now I want to go to a wedding so I can find some kids.

I’m not to uncle stage yet, only one of the fairly large group of cousins has a kid, and it isn’t my sister’s. I can’t decide if it makes our generation more mature or less mature that most of us aren’t having kids at the age our parents had us.

Eh, I usually take posters on their own terms. His comments weren’t thoughtful and he felt free to spew some ridiculous generalizations and insults. So that’s the response he got.

Sorry, I’m just not buying into the RexDart as victim thing. He came on strong and he got it back strong.
