God, the sports media is pathetic. \*\*\* Star implies he won’t stop at pretend moon\*\*\* Yeah, that’s what he did. He implied it. He’s the fucking Zodiac killer, giving vague hints as to the nature of his next atrocity. Either that, or some dumbass asked him a stupid question designed to get him to say “I don’t give a fuck” on camera, and he responded just like they knew he would. Jesus, Moss is pretty childish, but you’ve got a choice here: you can be outraged and indignant about what he does, or you can keep playing cute little games with him so you have something to put on the front page. But when you ask him if the man is getting him down, then run to the presses with a breathless “Moss showed no remorse for his latest misdeed,” you’re not fooling anybody. The worst part is, there’s like a 50/50 chance he’s going to get loose and score three times this weekend, and then it’s going to piss me off. Damn it. ---

The fines go to charity anyway. I heard on the local sports talk station today that Moss’s fine is going tsunami victims. Moss actually does a lot of charity stuff, by the way. ---

anyone remember Montana’s last game? Aikman’s? Marino’s? I didn’t think so. I’m sure a few of you here will remember this, the vast majority of the sane world will remember his 3 straight mvp’s and Super Bowl ring among other things. The best 4 teams are left, it should be a good sunday next week. I’ll go with Philly over NE-27-24. ---

Aikman wasn’t even that good, and I remember that his last play was getting smashed by Lavar Arrington and wobbling off the field. Montana threw for 300 yards and lost to somebody in the first round of the playoffs – Miami or Buffalo, I think. It’s not like they don’t make a big deal out of it when these guys retire; why wouldn’t people remember? I must have seen the clip of Aikman getting helped off the field thirty times that offseason.
