Do we know the Los Alamitos mayor is a Republican? I would not be surprised if he ran without party affiliation. Many small town positions are basically runindependently. Now he may be a Republican, I just had not heard one way or the other. Of course, given his stupidity he probably is. ---

Which is fine with me. Too bad he voted against it. ---

He very likely opposed the bill philosophically and hoped it wouldn’t pass, but still wanted to make sure that he brought home the pork in case it did. It wouldn’t behoove him politically to allow Dems the nation over to raid the county’s coffers for their own constituencies while allowing his own to go begging. ---

Wah, wah, wah … liberal media, liberal media, liberal media. I’ll say it again. Conservatives continually claim a liberal mainstream media bias only because there isn’t a conservative mainstream media bias. Limbaugh is the one making news by flapping his big fat mouth. When the media reports what he said, it isn’t bias … it’s reporting. ---
