# To the little shits who are hell-bent on ruining my honeymoon...

**Robyn** , it could have been worse. There was a report of a newly-married couple who showed up at a hotel in Edmonton only to be refused access to their bridal suite because the couple had no IDs. Not only the couple had to find elsewhere to spend their honeymoon, the hotel they had originally booked charged for the room anyway because they were a “no show.”

Well, RobinMom called the chain’s corporate office and spoke with a supervisor. The supervisor agreed that the hotel’s management was very lax in how they handled the situation with the kids. We got a refund of the whole cost of our stay, including all taxes, phone charges and everything, courtesy of the corporate office.

So, we got a honeymoon for free, basically.

Although, in retrospect, all I had to do was knock on their door the first night we were there. I took my hair down from its 'do, and my makeup was smudged. Quite frankly, I looked like the Bride of Frankenstein with a bad hangover. I should’ve used that to some effect.
