I wouldn’t be able to post. * * * Peruvian navy ships (at least the important ones) are named after the biggest navy heroes, one each for the greatest army and air force heroes, and then ports and battles. The heroes, except for Quiñones (KIA 1941) are either from the War of the Pacific (1879-1883) or the independence (1820-1824), so there is little problem with that. Of course, with a navy as large as the USNavy, you can run out of names quickly. ---
