To whom it may concern,
I will be gone from the board for awhile. I have some things that I need to get done, which aren’t getting done, because I have been spending way too much time reading/posting/lurking at the SDMB.
I realize that I don’t really know most of you, and you probably don’t know me, except by my OP’s and handle. My leaving has nothing to do anyone on the SDMB. I just need to take a personal break. I enjoy many of the posts everyone writes, and I hope you have enjoyed mine. I don’t know when I will return to participate in the SDMB, but I am estimating it may be a couple weeks.

OK, I can’t stand it anymore. I am back! Instead of cutting my board activity off entirely, I’m just gonna reduce it. But the next thing I know, I will posting all over the place, all day long again. I guess once one becomes a “reg” there’s no escaping the Straight Dope. Arrrgh.
By the way, those user id numbers are probably frequencies that the board mod’s use to transmit subliminal messages to a user, causing an irresistible need to read and post.

I noticed that too. This place is addictive. I think I’m gonna go cold turkey on it… tommorrow… yeah tommorrow is definitley when i will go without SDMB.
