Many happy returns! I inherited the family history papers and artifacts when my mother died three years ago. She and her cousin spent years working on it and I was always fascinated by the stories. Unfortunately, none of the next generation are at all interested in even hearing about the past. I don’t know what will happen to everything when I’m gone. I’m glad you have someone to carry on with it. ---

Hope everyone is having a warm and comfortable Christmas. Christmas 1938 Family reunion on my mothers’ side, gathered in Anthony New Mexico. There were eleven siblings in my mothers generation. I’m the kid in the lower right. The young man on the far left died four years later on the Langley.
