I inherited the family history papers and artifacts when my mother died three years ago. She and her cousin spent years working on it and I was always fascinated by the stories. Unfortunately, none of the next generation are at all interested in even hearing about the past. I don’t know what will happen to everything when I’m gone. I’m glad you have someone to carry on with it.

Happy birthday. I recently read that everybody needs three things. Something to do, something to look forward to, and someone to love and be loved by. Sounds like you have all three.
Hippie Birfday! You remind me of my great uncle–you still have a few years to catch up to his number. That guy was a pistol. So is my mom, she’s 85, talked to her today and I’m always seeing how many fun anecdotes I can get her to cough up. By all means, share any stories you like!

My parents are approaching 80 and they are between wheelchair and bounding. I’ll tell them they need to get moving more - there’s a 90 year old that can outrun them. 
I’m late to the party and hope you had a wonderful birthday. Folks like you, with such interesting stories to tell and such great knowledge, are why I’ve loved this board since 2010.
