Today I already: Cleaned my house from top to bottom…took everything off my counters and wiped them clean, cleaned the top of the stove, swept and mopped the floors, vacuumed, did laundry and hung it all up right away, took the lint picker upper to my furniture and removed enough cat hair to make 3 more cats, and I am running a load of dishes in the dishwasher right now. I also paid off all my month’s bills and due to a gift from mom and my tax return, I have plenty of money left over and have nearly pulled myself out of credit card debt. I am still going to be very careful with my money though, because I don’t want to end up in debt again. Now if I could just pay off these damn student loans I would be in great shape. Oh well, at least the interest on the loans is only 7 percent. Now I am going to start a beef stew and while that is simmering, I am going to lay on the couch and do nothing, because I have to start getting ready for work at 4:30. ---

Today I’ve already breast feed countless times. Picked up the debacle called breakfast and lunch with a toddler. Let the dog in, let the dog out x 10. And, this is the only thing that breaks the day in , day out mundanity: took a whopping pile of paperwork and started to organize it for filing. One of these days I’m going to Ollie North all this damn paperwork. Oh, and after my show, instead of putting the generic lubriderm lotion on my skin I grabbed the generic cetaphil bottle and rubbed that on my arms and legs. (It’s the exact same bottle from the same distributing company.) ---

Finish writing the FAQs for the new feature our site is implementing. Put the ducklings back in after an hour or two in the sun. Mimic Shirley and put the dogs in and out x10. Cook dinner. Go for a drive in the sunshine with husband (can you tell that sunshine has been a rare commodity here?) Simply enjoy my life. trisha ---

I’m staying home sick from work today. Since I have the whole day to do the things I’ve neglected at home I will… a. Sit around in my PJs all day. b. Watch the Spanish channel and see if I can figure out what their saying. (I don’t know any Spanish. It drives Mrs. Pluto crazy when I do this. She thinks I’m looking at the Mexican girls. She’s nuts. But that Odalys Garcia – she’s a hottie, isn’t she? And she’s _Cuban_, not Mexican!) c. Read the good book I found at the library. (_Doubt and Certainty_ by Rothman and Sudarshan) d. Eat too much. e. Set a new record for consecutive wins at FreeCell. f. Pay the bills. g. Clean the house. h. Do the taxes. ## Answer: a through e. Did I mention that Mrs. Pluto went to Canada to go skiing?
