Bah amateur indeed. I restore antiques and specialize in lamps. I have bins and boxes and dozens of jars of nipples and hickeys of all sorts of sizes. When the need occasions I make my own nipples. Got to be careful sometimes they make me bleed. Scandalous is strangers pay me for the proper nipple. Wheeeeeeeee. ---

One cord that I’ve need to replace a few times over the years in one particular piece of equipment at work and I just can’t pull it around a 90 degree bend without the insulation starting to rip off in my hands. A little bit of vegetable oil and it slides right through. ---
