From earlier thread: “The ENT says this happens from time to time and he did attempt a valve repair on my nose while he was in there”. Just what valve, I’ve never heard of such, couldn’t find reference to any ‘valve’ anywhere above the shoulders in any medical texts, and asked my primary care physician at a chance meeting. He stated flatly that the only thing approaching a valve is the epiglottis which prevents food and liquids from entering the windpipe. What did your ENT mean by valve???
