Ivylad and I have been married 16 years today. There were times when I wasn’t sure we’d make it, but we’ve reached the harbor, and except for some ongoing health problems, things couldn’t be better. We’re going [here](http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylordpalms/) this weekend. I wanted to go on my birthday, but a little storm named Frances put the kibosh on that. We’re not staying in the hotel, just wandering around the four and half acre atrium, with its themes and restaurants and shops. I love you sweetie. Happy anniversary. ---

Thank you, thank you. I only hope Ivylad can walk around. His back started acting up again, and now he’s devolved to the walker from the cane, and for some reason, he can’t walk on his right foot…he has to hobble on the outside of it. That, plus he went to the dentist today, who had to _cut into his gum_ to dig out an old filling. :eek: ---

_Ouch!_ I have a bunch of tiny soaps/shampoos from the Gaylord. My mum stayed there a few months ago. 😃 It sounds very lovely. Congrats on your anniversary! It’s nice to know there are people out there who have been married 16 years & don’t hate each other! (gives me hope) ---

Suffice to say after numerous surgeries, he has a morphine pump under his skin to help with the pain. Last year the doctor killed some nerves to help with back pain. He’s still suffering and needs a cane to get around. (Although this week, he’s back on the walker. ☹ )
