Today's interesting quotes

I’m having a mundane (and boring day), so here’s something pointless to spice it up (for me, at least).

Printed in large letters on a door:

“THIS IS NOT A DOOR.”

Pronounced by my mother on the way to the airport:

“When I get home, I have to remember to defrost the church linens so I can iron them.”

I didn’t know Rene Magritte lived in St Louis.

Pasted on the outer entrance to a walk-in clinic attached to my local Zellers:

“This door is alarmed.”

A sensible warning to those who prefer to use more level-headed doors.

Also, last night, I was waiting at the bus stop outside of the Mississauga Trillium Health Center for the bus that would take me to Sherway Gardens and the Apple Store. Facing the stop, as a part of the hospital, was the “Colonel Harland Sanders Family Center.” I wanted to go in and ask if they had any 20-piece bucket specials.

Ce n’est pas une porte.

Heh… found a link to the center.
